About GCITSD 2026

The Global Conference on Innovation, Technology, and Sustainable Development (GCITSD) welcomes full papers, abstracts, and special session proposals for its 1st annual conference in Ebolowa, Cameroon, under the supervision of the University of Ebolowa (Cameroon), TBS Education (France), King Fahd University of Petroleum (Saudi Arabia), and Wilfrid Laurier University (Canada), June 12–13, 2026.

Africa is the fastest-urbanizing continent. According to UN-Habitat (2022), more than half of its population will live in cities by 2035. Rapid urban growth brings opportunities and pressing challenges: informal housing, social inequalities, fragile infrastructure (water, energy, mobility), environmental degradation, food insecurity, and climate vulnerability. GCITSD 2026 convenes scholars, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, civil society, and community leaders to explore the theme: Sustainable, Smart Cities and Environment: Challenges and Perspectives in Africa.
